Faber is a specialist F&B design agency headquartered in Birmingham. Working for leading chefs, restaurateurs, hoteliers and retailers, we provide market insight, architectural/interior design and branding for the food and beverage industry.
We’re looking for an experienced senior architectural technologist/design technician to join our team at the Custard Factory in Birmingham. Ideal candidates will have at least 7-10 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrate strong technical skills and, most importantly, be a friendly and down-to-earth person.
Key responsibilities:
• Producing drawing packs for tender and construction purposes
• Collating and issuing tender packs and liaising with contractors as required
• Assisting the design team with technical queries
• Managing internal drawing standards and protocols
Required skills and attributes:
• Good working knowledge of the Building Regulations
• Excellent understanding of joinery and shopfitting detailing
• 7-10 years of experience in a similar role
• Organised, detail focused, hard-working
• A good team player
• Software – AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Applications
