Tony said: "We've been given an ambitious brief to re-brand VSK at the same time as designing the interior of a new restaurant ahead of the main Christmas trading period."
The casual dining concept opened its first site in Brindley Place just over 12 months ago, but the fledgling brand has plans to scale-up and is set to open its second site at Resorts World in December.
"The existing branding didn't really fit with the direction that the new restaurant was going and didn't have a strong enough brand identity to support a multi-location brand. We have sharpened it up and created a brandmark that works on different levels across the restaurants, print and website."
"Taking inspiration from Vietnamese culture, we wanted to embed the 'buzz of the streets' into the design as well as some less obvious cultural reference points. Authentic lanterns, rice hats and market baskets have been imported from Vietnam to create an eclectic ceiling display, while commissioned art and replica 'fly posters' will cover the walls."
