Branding concept for a pop-up coffee shop hatch in Clapham
"Window is simple yet full of attitude, the perfect recipe for a short-term pop-up coffee hatch."
As part of a wider project to refurbish and launch a new restaurant concept, it was agreed to use the site as a pop-up via a newly installed kiosk window. This would provide passers by with coffee and small bites during the refurbishment, then act as a secondary point of sale once the main restaurant is open.
Knowing from the outset that this would be a temporary brand, the aim was to keep it super simple in order to clearly communicate a limited offer of food and drink.
The branding for Window is simple yet full of attitude, with a block-like typeface which is used for both primary and secondary elements, with the W providing the loyalty stamp. The design addressed all touch-points - signage, menu design, POS graphics, packaging and staff uniform.
