Branding and interior design for the F&B spaces for Monopoly Lifesized
"Creating a series of F&B and public spaces that sit alongside the new Monopoly Lifesized experience."
Monopoly Lifesized is the new experiential venue located on Tottenham Court Road. Occupying a former retail store, the experience transforms three floors of former retail space into an upscaled version of the popular family game. The ground floor is given over to public spaces and The Top Hat, a restaurant and bar. A second, more intimate VIP bar, is located on the second floor.
The brief called for a series of spaces that reflected the iconic Monopoly visual language in different ways; some spaces, such as the reception and public areas, fully embrace the style of the game. In the F&B spaces, the references had to be more subtle; the aim being to attract passing trade along with visitors to the experience.
The end result provides a ground floor bar and restaurant that works as a stand alone venue, yet feels like a natural progression for customers playing the game. The experience is further enhanced by Faber designing every facet of the customer experience; from staff uniforms to menus, every detail has been considered.
