Photo diary : Leamington Spa

We took a trip to Royal Leamington Spa earlier this month and met some amazingly inspirational business owners for our Meet the Independents blog series. We also couldn't resist having a potter around town - and here's what we found...

Berylune

Run by sisters Emily & Amy and best friend Zoë, this self-proclaimed ‘pint sized department store’ is an Aladdin’s cave of beautiful gifts, stationery, books, accessories, homeware and more.

The Aviary

Located in a beautifully ornate Victorian birdhouse, this quaint café provides the perfect pitstop for a spot of tea and cake. We tried the gluten free brownies and they were AMAZING.

The Glasshouse, Jephson Gardens

This tropical haven in Leamington’s main park, Jephson Gardens, houses some impressive exotic plants including banana, pink powder puff and bird of paradise.

The Royal Pump Rooms

A trip to Royal Leamington Spa isn’t complete without a visit to the Pump Rooms. This free museum depicts the history of Leamington as a spa town and also houses art exhibitions.

Fred & Virginia

This family-run, plant-based deli hadn’t long opened its doors when we went to visit, but we were impressed by the range of artisan delights on offer. We’ll definitely be back.
