The December issue of Bar magazine predicts some of the key design trends for 2019, featuring Faber’s recently completed Nocturnal Animals project and comment from our Creative Director, Tony Matters.
“Trends undoubtedly have an influence on bar and club design. But if a bar operator is looking to create a brand with staying power, they’d be wise not to be overly influenced by design fads that can seem like the next big thing, but end up being short-lived,” says Tony.
“Finding the balance between remaining relevant to your target market without alienating other potential sources of income is key, which means curating all of those trends down into something that really communicates who you are as a brand – rather than the message you think you ought to be communicating in order to be on trend.”
