Faber chosen to redesign Sutton Park restaurant, The Boathouse.

Faber has been appointed to refurbish and relaunch Sutton Park-based restaurant, The Boathouse.

The new-look restaurant will be refurbished and reopened as The Bracebridge in November.

The venue will continue to offer a casual dining menu on the terrace area, plus breakfast, lunch and a fine-dining service in the restaurant during the evenings.

Run by twin brother chefs, Scott and Steven Lewis, previously of Michel Roux Jr.’s Le Gavroche and Pierre Koffmann’s La Tante Claire, the new menu will focus on creating quality dishes at an accessible price point.

The 15th century lodge’s location on the picturesque Bracebridge pool in Sutton Park is “truly stunning”, says Tony Matters, Creative Director at Faber. “It’s a landmark destination restaurant in a unique position and deserves to be something truly special. We’re looking forward to helping the new owners realise the venue’s full potential.

“Our design will aim to capture the essence of this amazing place, whether providing somewhere special for eating out or grabbing a coffee and light bite on the terrace.”
